It is with mixed emotions that we celebrate Nolan's 1st Birthday today! I cannot believe that time has gone so fast. It was one year ago today, that we were delivering our precious baby boy into the world. He weighed in at 7lbs 4oz and 20 inches long. Today on his 1st birthday he is 20lbs 2oz and 29inches long. Our little boy is starting to eat solids, he loves chicken nuggets, mac and cheese and his favorite thing is cottage cheese! He is such a happy boy and is always smiling. His favorite place is still jumping on mom and dad's bed! He lights up with joy every time he sees the bed...what a goof ball we have! Nolan is walking fluently object to object and can easily stand in the middle of the floor unassisted! He has attempted a few first steps, but is still unwilling to try to put too many steps together! I think our little boy is going to go from standing to running in one day!
We had such a great birthday celebration for Nolan. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate his big day! We had a wonderful circus themed day! Complete with a circus pennant, cotton candy, hotdogs and popcorn! It was a great day and we had so much fun celebrating his big milestone with him!
Nolan even was a trooper eating his cake and opening presents! But boy did he sleep well at night. He crashed at around 530 and would have slept through the night if we would have let him. But he sure had fun playing with all of his new toys!
