Happy 8 months

Our lil monster is 8 months old! Where has the time gone? He is now wearing 6-12month clothes and weighs 18 pounds. He is also quite the mover....he crawls to his bedroom and back to check and see what mommy and daddy are doing. Our lil man sure doesn't miss much.

He is loving his daycare mom Judy. She takes such great care of him and he has a best friend who is 14 months old named Evan. Evan and Nolan chase each other around all day at daycare. Nolan's biggest frustration is he cannot crawl fast enough to keep up with Evan. He is still learning to crawl on all fours.

Nolan is our little high needs independent man. He has been refusing to eat much milk the last few weeks. We took out a sippy cup and our poor eating guy is now pounding down his food! He looks like daddy in college....Chug milk, finish milk in one long gulp, then proceed to either bang up or throw cup to ground, all while having glassy eyes because he wasn't breathing.

Happy Easter!!! Nolan's first candy and its a delicious peep!
Loving his sugary peep. Look at those beautiful eyes I feel in love with at first sight!
What a beautiful young man

Happy Easter

We had a great Easter weekend! We spent the weekend at Nana and Papa's house. On Easter morning we headed to Church and Nolan did great! He was so chatty and loved flirting with everyone in the cry-room. We then went to dinner at Buca's. Nolan got his first dessert of FROSTING and boy did he like it.

Our lil mover is here!

Well this has been an eventful week. Nolan is perfecting the army crawl! We considered his twisting and turning to be an army crawl last week....but we were pleasantly surprised with what Nolan learned how to do this week. Nolan is learning how to army crawl with some speed. And of course this new found talent was discovered before mom and dads eyes at the doctor's office! Luckily we were able to capture it on video!

Nolan also learned up to pull up on his stroller for the very first time and the doctors office. He was so determined to get up!

And this is Nolan dancing his heart out!

He can now sit all by himself
Always such a happy baby...playing with his toes
Nolan's new toy. He already loves to pull up on this toy
Tipping the toy over
The entire family playing in the living room
Playing with Matt's old toy

And he can stand! All grown up

Visiting Nana and Papa

This past weekend we all visited Nana and Papa's house for the night. Matt and I went to get some great ideas for our home at the Plymouth Parade of Homes, while, Grandma and Grandpa babysat Nolan. Nolan had a great time going on walks with Nana and also going to the park. Nana and Papa got to see first hand how much Nolan LOVES to swing! He also got a new green stroller....to bad they didn't have red! Nolan also had a great time in his walker....he is starting to figure out how to move.

We also had Nolan's 6 week check up with his doctor. His creatinine increased very slightly from 1.09 to 1.13. His doctor again suggested that we begin to do a pre-evaluation for kidney transplant. So we will be starting that process next week. He would like to be prepared in the event that Nolan will need his transplant. Nolan is currently not ready because he is regulating his blood electrolytes, growing, no high blood pressure and very happy. Dr. Cramer was once again amazed to see what a happy baby Nolan is.

Nolan also got his second cold this week ;-(  This time it ended with an ear infection and pink eye...poor guy. We have some antibiotics for him and some amazing ear numbing drops! This is wonderful to let Matt and I get some sleep.

Nolan has also learned to blab the word dadadada. Oh and I was hoping mamama would come first. We also are still waiting for our little peanut to crawl. He is great at the army crawl and rolling over to get to his favorite toy. Nolan also now kisses on demand! It just melts my heart getting his big wet kiss on my cheek...now this is what being a mommy is all about!

It's Summer Time

We finally were able to get the home on the market this past week! We initially had a lot of interest in our house and were able to get a showing this last Thursday, followed by 4 on Saturday. While frantically keeping the house clean and taking many walks we still had time to photograph our lil Nolly.
This is our little Champion....we had bought this outfit when we found out our little peanut was sick. He is now finally big enough to wear it!
First time to the park! Swinging with mommy!
Sure didn't take him long to learn that he loves the big boy swing
This is the new preferred sleeping position for Nolan. We think he will be crawling soon...he pulls his knees up while playing with all of his toys and attempting an army crawl towards them.
Sitting like a big boy playing with one of his favorite toys....he lights up with his favorite color red and sings to him.
Trip 2 to the park this weekend! It was 80 and sunny outside. We lathered up with sunscreen and shorts and headed to the park with the dogs during a showing.
Daddy had to take Nolan down his first slide ride....needless to say I was a bit nervous! But Nolan survived

Nolan doing his first ever pull up!
 Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!
Just hanging from the monkey bars
 Loving life and swinging
 First underdog swing...ah just kidding
Sitting like a big boy for mommy....look at those teeth
