17 months
Our little man sure is keeping us on our toes. He no longer walks around the house...he sprints room to room. He is very helpful and will help us clean and wipe up his mess. He can wipe and clean his hands and throw away the paper towel. He is becoming a pro with his spoon and fork, when self feeding.
Nolan still loves to eat dairy and meat. He loves ham, hamburger, hot dogs and chicken nuggets. He loves to eat cottage cheese, american cheese, yogurt. He loves mandarin oranges, apple sauce, watered down juice. Vegetables we struggle with more, he will eat green beans and that is about it. He is still drinking a ton of fluids and he now loves to have ice in all of his beverages. He is still drinking out of a sippy cup and has not figured out how to use a straw. At night he still gets his milk in a bottle and a nuk. But he has pretty much eliminated the nuk during the day. We have had a few set-backs with teething.
Nolan's 3/4 molars appear to be almost all the way in! Yeah
Nolan has also started to sleep through the night. He goes to sleep between 7-8. Will usually wake around 11 and then sleeps til 730 or 8. During the night he still consumes about 12 ounces of milk.
Nolan is really starting to jibber jabber. He says duck for dino. He knows where all of his toys are and completely understands everything you tell him to do. He is a very bright little boy.
Nolan is learning how to be organized and sort shoes. He can put his jacket away when asked and find everyone's shoes.
Nolan has been going through a Daddy phase this last month...I must say I do not like sharing, but am glad to see he is bonding with his daddy.

16 months - Merry Christmas
Nolan is a pro at climbing onto anything...chairs, tables, high chairs! Our little bundle of joy has no fear. We unfortunately witnessed our first blood bath, Nolan feel off the chair and bite his lip. He did much better than mommy at the sight of his own blood. We were able to calm him down pretty quickly, but oh did I feel bad.
Nolan is really starting to develop his personality. He is learning that he wants things done his way...when he knows he is mis behaving he sticks out his tounge, and whines an unknown demand and then promptly does the naughty task. He has also started to hit and throw things at you if you try to take them away. We have not started time-out yet, but are getting very close to starting.
Nolan has been working on cutting his molar. So far they are just giant bumps. He has been running a slight fever and gets big giant pink cheeks. His current weight as of Dec 24 is 21.3 pounds. He is wearing 12-18 months clothes and has a shoe size of 4.5.
Nolan knows how to remove lids and match the correct size to another container. He is learning how to sort like things. He is starting to pick up toys and gently place them into the toy box.
